“I do not trust people who don’t love themselves and tell me, ‘I love you.’ There is an African saying which is: Be careful when a naked person offers you a shirt.” – Maya Angelou

Who are you when no one’s looking?

When you present yourself in a new situation, is it heartfelt? Are you mindful of the spaces you walk into and the spaces you create?

Are you skipping ahead a beat or two? Are you falling behind, wishing upon yesterday’s time?

Catch yourself when you’re rushing time away. Don’t push or punish time away. There’s a lesson in there for you. There’s a lesson here for us all.

If you want to be a better listener, “listen to the one who doesn’t speak much.”
If you want to be better at handling your emotions, learn from the one who has mastered his or her thoughts and reactions.
If you desire more fulfilling relationships in your life, observe those who have sound and healthy relationships.
If you seek more financial stability in your life, study habits from those who are fiscally responsible.
If you are seeking to be more heartfelt, allow yourself to be influenced by those who know how to give and receive love.

You deserve to be happy, fulfilled, and loved.
