“Faith is taking the first step even when you don’t see the whole staircase.” – Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
If you had one wish, what would you wish for…?
Take some time and be honest with yourself.
Health, happiness, peace, success…
The list goes on.
What if you were to make your own wish come true; what if you were to color your world with your wish, as if it were already granted? What if it was your mission to use your imagination, your goodwill, your Love to create goodness in the world?
Do you still have that wish?
What if you were the only one who could grant your own wish? What would you do then?
Would you spend time “just wishing,” or would you muster courage and strength as you work toward your wish’s fulfillment.
Integrity is really important in life. Integrity deals with honoring yourself and being truthful in all demeanors. We cannot know others’ true intentions or opinions of us. Nor does it matter all that much at the end of the day. What matters most is our integrity to ourselves and our work toward leaving this place a little kinder, cleaner, and happier than we found it.
If you had one wish, make it count.
The truth is that our minds are manufacturing machines: we are constantly creating stories by the things we tell ourselves. With the use of our intentions, conscious or unconscious, we are growing or manifesting our thoughts/desires/fears/expectations: some more pleasant than others. These all become a part of one’s story. The key is to enjoy your story.
As the old adage goes, “Be careful what you wish for.” Consciously choosing your thoughts, actions, and reactions can help you rid the burden of endless thinking. Let kindness show in all that you do because whatever you do, say, think, or feel, you are showing the world what you are about. Be about love. Be about goodwill. Be about integrity.
Remember, every wish carries with it the opportunity to make it come true.
